I was given the chance by +BzzAgent to try out Dylon's new product on the market White'n'Brighte. These little blue sheets are meant to keep your whites white and also soft at the same time. Just place the little blue sheet at the bottom of the drum in your washing machine and let it get to work!
They become grey because of dirt, limescale and dust particles in the machine, but with white-tex system that is in the sheet, it releases ingredients to neutralise those elements. Even if they don't become grey, normal everyday brand whiteners leave the whites feeling hard and like cardboard but this little blue sheet is gentle on whites!
It's difficult to tell if it works or not in just a month of trialling it but I do believe it has worked for me. I had a really greying mattress protector and after just 1 wash with white'n'bright it came out a little brighter I must say. I've used my whole packet that was #free and also gave some samples to the rest of my family. I have run out and can notice that my white towels are going back to being a little on the hard side :(
